Getting The Best Person To Mentor Your Web Marketing Biz

Getting The Best Person To Mentor Your Web Marketing Biz

By Dan Vlad

The quickest way to earning profits on the internet is to identify someone who is already successful and get them to coach you. It is not that simple finding the right person, however, because many mentors charge a great deal for their help. A lot of the web marketing gurus aren't experts at all. In this article you are going to get advice on how to recognize a true expert in web marketing.

The first thing to ascertain is whether the expert is turning a profit by utilizing the method they're teaching. Many make money by selling ideas of making money, rather than from a system. So their book might be about a money-making system, but they make money entirely from sales of the book, and not by using the system. Their first suggestion will be not to touch the Internet Marketing niche because there is just too much competition. They tell you to get into less competitive markets, although they have never gone there. You need to ask yourself if these folks have any real credibility.

There are experts who will show you everything, and others who won't tell you where they are earning profits. They usually say they cannot afford to show you a niche they're successful in, simply because that will open it up to over-saturation and be to their detriment. How can you tell if they are actually making money in that niche, if they wouldn't reveal what it is? If you don't have real examples, how do you know if their system works? The most successful mentors remove the margin for error by providing you a plan that is organized step by step. When their plan is this simple to follow and then works, you know this fellow knows what he is talking about.

Are their statements believable, like 'make money on the web without any experience in less than six weeks' or 'make $50,000 in a month' or some other incredible claim? Anybody can make these ludicrous claims, and it is a simple matter to provide bogus screenshots as "proof" of the outrageous amounts of money being made. The odds that you are dealing with a genuinely professional marketer are much greater when the claims being made are modest and plausible. Steer clear of them, when their claims are way too unreachable to be true. Don't believe a word of those statements about living an idle lifestyle while the money keeps coming in - you can only generate profits by working. And you want nothing to do with them if whatever they teach isn't honest.

There are numerous viable methods, which include pay-per-click advertising, flipping sites, article marketing and even offline marketing. But they are not everyone's cup of tea, so you should not get talked into something you don't believe that that you can do. It is not just about making profits, you also want to enjoy yourself while doing so. An expert has a strategy that actually works, and doesn't need to force you into paying for it, even knowing it won't work for you.
