There are many different ways that women can stay healthy. As a woman it may be important to take the time that you need to understand how you can keep your body healthy for many years to come.

There are a lot of condiments that people eat because they do not realize that they are taking in a lot of calories when they eat them. You have to make sure that you take time to realize what food you are going to want to avoid in the condiment section.

First, you should realize that there are some condiments you can eat. When you realize what condiments you can eat on a consistent basis you can try to replace the bad condiments with the condiments you know you can eat.

Take the time that you need to explain to your doctor what your health goals are. You have to make sure that you take the time that you need to understand how you will be wise about the way that you articulate what you want to accomplish.

More than likely your doctor's office or your gym will have one of these tools to help you understand your body mass index. Talk with your doctor or with a personal trainer about what is normal and what is healthy for your body composition.

There are a lot of people that have a hard time understanding how they can be wise about the way that they eat ketchup and BBQ sauce. Because both of these condiments are low in calories people tend to slather them on their food.

Even if you have excess fat on your body be sure to keep a healthy attitude towards your body. Do not hate your body or get too frustrated with yourself but learn to love your body and try your hardest to stay healthy at the same time.

If you are eating a salad you have to be extra careful about the dressing that you are putting on your salad. Make sure that you understand how you are going to put the right dressing and the right amount of dressing on your salad.

While you are learning how you can be wise about the salad dressing that you choose you should start by avoiding all creamy dressings. The creamy dressings are going to be full of calories and you want to make sure that you realize that even the ones labeled 'light' have a lot of calories.

When you are doing this you have to understand that the butter and the salt will not be good for your body. Make sure that you take the time that you need to understand how you can be sure that you are going to cook the vegetables and ensure that they will still be healthy.

If you are going to talk to your relatives schedule a time with them for a future time. Make sure that they are aware of what you will be asking and that they are comfortable giving you the information that you are asking for.

Whenever you have salad dressing you will want to be sure that it is on the side rather than beging on the salad itself. When the salad dressing is on the side you can dip your fork in the sauce and then get the salad on your fork.

Third, take time to assess your cancer risk. When you want to assess what your risk is you can go to The American Cancer Society's Great American Health Check to answer some questions about your personal health and the health of your family.

When you are putting condiments on your food you want to avoid mayonnaise like the plague. While you are eating mayonnaise you have to understand that you are packing a ton of calories into a tablespoon of mayonnaise.

If you must eat mayonnaise you should make sure that you find some that is based on oil. This way you can be sure that you are able to minimize the amount of calories that you are consuming when you eat the mayonnaise.

Whether you want to keep a food journal for a month or a week, the same principles apply. You will want to write down everything that you have eaten throughout the day and take note of the portion size that you are consuming.

Make sure that you take the time that you can to figure out how to stay healthy as a woman. While you are assessing your current health you should be proud of the aspects of your life and of your body that are healthy.

The more that you understand about the dressings and condiments you should eat the easier it will be to avoid those that are not good for you.
