Tae Kwon Do Raleigh Kicks For Beginners

Tae Kwon Do Raleigh Kicks For Beginners

By Andrea Davidson

Because Tae Kwon Do Raleigh is one of the most popular martial arts in the entire world, it is no wonder that the number of practitioners is growing. Of course in order to be able to do this martial art, it is important to first have a very capable instructor who knows what he is doing. For beginners, here is a short overview on some of the kicks of this art just to get a feel of what it would be like to sit in a class.

Probably the first kick that he would be taught would be the stretch kick as it is the most basic one. The basic nature of this kick is a high one that is designed to be able to smash the chin of his opponent. This simple move just involves stretching the back leg high up until it hits the head part.

The roundhouse kick is one of the most used kicks in pretty much all martial arts out there because it is the easiest to use as well as the most damaging. It is a snapping forty five degree kick that is aimed directly at the lower torso of the opponent. To do this, all one needs to do is lift his hind leg from a fighting stance, twist his hip to the side, and snap his leg to kick.

The high roundhouse is another move that is extremely devastating and aims for the head. This is actually exactly like the regular roundhouse kick but should be done to the head instead of his body. With this kick, it can actually be possible to knockout a person during sparring time.

Now a kick than can also knock down an opponent in a move but cannot be read easily would be the out in kick. This kick cannot be read right away because it can be done a second after one assumes a fighting stance. This is actually very similar to a stretch kick but it comes from the outside and curves in to the inside.

The opposite of that move would be the in out kick which is executed just like the previous one but it is done in the other direction. This is yet again another surprise kick because it can also be delivered right from a fighting stance. The reason why these two kicks cannot be intercepted is simply because they can be done in only one second.

The side kick would be the last move that one will be learning before he goes to advanced moves. Now this move is usually used to create distance between the fighter and his opponent. Since he will be using the force of the rotating motion of his body, he will be able to push his opponent far away.

So if one is interested in learning the art of Tae Kwon Do Raleigh, then here are some things that he will be practicing. Of course he will need to ready his body for the hard work by conditioning it to become strong and flexible. That way, he will be able to do these kicks properly.
