Great Things About Using A Tanning Spray

Great Things About Using A Tanning Spray

By Haywood Hunter

Fake tans are becoming more popular nowadays, and can be applied in several ways. A person could travel to a beauty salon and let a professional apply the tanning spray product, or a person could purchase his/her own product, and do it at home. The option for a professionally applied tan is appealing, as this usually results in a very attractive tan. A tanning spray is a very good product used by salons, and is easy to apply.

A wide variety of products, including tanning spray, have been developed to produce a fake tan. They can be used instead of getting a natural tan from the sun, because this has been proven as harmful to the skin, or they are used instead of sun lamps or beds, because these have also been shown to be just as harmful as the sun. In the past, fake tans really did look rather fake, but with the latest improvements in the products, they now actually create a wonderful and natural-looking tan.

Most salons will use tanning spray products for their customers. They produce the best results, especially when they are in the hands of skilled professionals who know how to use them. The staff of a salon also advise their customers how to help the self-tan procedure in order to ensure a beautiful tan.

You will feel as if you are in a shower when the tanning spray is being applied. It will come out of a similar nozzle, and will be used in a way that produces varying degrees of tan colors. Before you begin, you will need to specify the type of tan you would like. You can have a light tan, or you can choose a darker tan.

Ask questions before you start the tanning spray procedure, as you will need to enter alone. Salon staff members are usually quite willing to explain the whole procedure, and put any of your fears to rest. They will let you know exactly what you should do, and how the tan will be applied.

There are a few things that you can do to help the tanning spray process. The first is to remove all dead skin cells and dirt from the area to be tanned. A good sponge, or an exfoliating product is recommended. You can also apply moisturizer before you go to the salon (about an hour beforehand). A moisturizer will make your skin slightly sticky, which will help with the procedure. Afterward, however, find out if there is a lotion that you can buy to help maintain your tan, or find out which moisturizers can be used.

Remember that tanning spray used for coloring skin can stain clothing. You should therefore consider going bare, unless you have a bathing suit or underwear that you don't mind throwing away. A pair of cheap gloves helps to prevent orange palms after applying the tanning spray.

Stand still in the tanning spray, allowing it to fall on all parts of your body. It will quickly absorb and dry, but the excess can be toweled off. Getting a tan from a professional salon is the quickest and safest way of achieving a naturally tanned look.
