One of the most important things in life is having etiquette both in a professional and societal level. How you dress to a funeral says a lot about you. You do not have to dress in black; other colors are also fine as long as you do not bring attention to yourself. The mood is somber so should be your outfit. Say something nice to the bereaved and keep it short.

As much as its good to have a child who is always happy and playful, it can be little bit over board to those around you and your child. When you go to the grocery store or the mall, you should teach your child about public etiquette. He should know when you tell him no and not run around as he may run into stuff, break fragile items and in the end upsetting everyone.

Which rules of etiquette should one consider if you want to leave a good first impression? First impression normally determines if the relationship you have built will go on or not. When someone else is talking, its considered impolite to barge in; wait till its your turn then say what you want to say, or if its a must you may cut in but use polite words.

Learn to say no politely or when you are refusing something. It can be a bit difficult to tell a colleague no when they are trying to offer you lunch which is a kind gesture but it makes you uncomfortable. Be strong willed and direct but put the blame on yourself and also be polite and give a reasonable explanation. Be mindful of the other persons feelings.

In summary, these techniques are crucial in building the relationships around us with other people. Even when you are having a bad day, put a smile on your face, it will brighten up the day for someone and it will make you feel better.
