Working With A Recruiter

Working With A Recruiter

Working With A Recruitment Agency

The current job market has proved to be a challenge to recruitment agencies around the globe. One of the biggest problems recruiters face is relevance.

With more and more people now searching for work recruiters are becoming more and more sought after and busy. People often pose the question, 'why use a recruiter when we can post a job online ourselves?' The answer is multifaceted.

1. Being sure that you have found the right candidate and be aware that just because there are lots of people looking for work that does not necessarily mean that they will be suitable for the role or even apply for it.

2. It is often much quicker to recruit through a recruiter rather than taking time out of your day to interview and read CV's.

3. A professional recruiter will have the skill to recognise if people are bending the truth or not being honest about qualifications.

4. All recruiters have methods that allow them to judge candidates and their merit.

5. If the role that is being filled is a contract or temp role then a recruiter may have more of a chance of filling it. That is simply because they have a database where they will already have a large pool of temporary workers to contact.

6. Recruiters can act as a go between and deliver news and feedback to candidates.

7. One of the biggest benefits of using a consultant is that they are bound to have lots of experience of recruiting in the field they recruit for and therefore they know what to look for in a good candidate.

If you wish to fill a vacancy then using a recruiter is a good idea as it allows you to remain concentrating on your own job rather than spending lots of time on recruiting.
